Everything you should know about Dreamforce’19
It’s been over a week & we are back from San Francisco. However, the Dreamforce experience is something to cherish for life long. Some have already started planning for the next year’s Dreamforce. Yes, the impact of this event is that high. For us, DF19 was awesome. We had four exceptional days packed with a lot of learning, fun, inspiration, and connections.  If we summarize Dreamforce 19, we can say it was action-packed. There were a lot of actions that happened in the span of four days including some significant announcements, a handful of highly insightful sessions and workshops, the presence of top business personalities as well as leaders, and last but not the least ‘Dreamfest’. DF19 didn’t disappoint at all. It’s difficult to choose favorite moments from an event like Dreamforce as every minute was special. However, here are our top picks from Dreamforce this year.  The Keynote Every year Dreamforce has something special to offer during the keynote. The Co-CEO Keith Block & Chairman & Co-CEO Marc Benioff talked about the Salesforce community and how we are bringing changes together. Trailblazers like Sheldon Simmons and Trailblazing companies like Louis Vuitton and State Farm Insurance were also present during the keynote and shared their inspirational journey.  Customer 360 Truth Customer 360 Truth was one of the top announcements during DF19. Considering the important role of data in today’s business, Customer 360 Truth will consolidate all the data points to build a single view of the customer. With the single source of truth of the customers, enterprises can drive a high degree of personalization and offer relevant experiences at every touchpoint.  Einstein Voice  ‘Hey Einstein’ – This was probably the show stopper of DF19. With the introduction of Einstein’s voice capabilities, Salesforce brought a voice to every customer experience spanning across the Salesforce Customer 360 Platform. Einstein Voice Assistant will guide at every action, insight, and prediction which will make Salesforce users more productive on the go. Einstein Voice capabilities will help developers and admins develop custom voice-powered applications with a few clicks. With this, new solutions for service and sales teams will apply natural language processing to voice conversations and deliver insights that drive intelligent & personalized customer engagement.  Read more: Salesforce Brings Voice to Every Customer Experience – Einstein Voice Capabilities President Barack Obama One of the most inspirational and awaited seasons of DF19 was the conversation between Marc Benioff, Chairman, and Co-CEO & President Obama. Taking about the key values, leadership, and diversity, President Obama said, “Be kind. Be useful. Ask why not? Know you have the power to change things. Being a leader is identifying the power in others and unleashing it.” Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) were front and center at Dreamforce 2019. U.N. Under-Secretary-General & Executive Director of U.N. Women Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka talked about the importance of SDGs, and the progress we’re making against them. Phumzile talked about gender equality that spans all 17 goals. She stressed that when we don’t empower women economically, we’re actually leaving a lot of money on the table. 3.5 billion women around the world are not empowered, nor have their rights protected to hold the same jobs as men — thus they cannot be economic citizens. However, with the SDGs in place and by collaborating, we can make a change. Dreamfest with Fleetwood Mac & Beck At the evening of day two, thousands of Dreamforce attendees gathered in Oracle Park to watch legendary bands Beck and Fleetwood Mac perform for UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospitals. Attendees were entertained to a night of music, dancing, and ballpark fare — plus an unforgettable, 5-minute drum solo by the energetic Mick Fleetwood.
